Der vertiefende Workshop Play, Promote, Publish – Marketing Strategies for the Games Industry vermittelt Developer*innen aus kleinen Independent-Firmen genauso wie Spielentwickler*innen aus größeren Unternehmen die nötigen Marketing- und Self-Marketing-Skills, um ihre Spiele-Ideen erfolgreich am Markt zu platzieren.
Die Teilnehmer*innen beschäftigen sich intensiv u.a. damit, wie sie geeignete Geschäftsmodelle und Social-Media-Kanäle finden, wie sie die Kommunikation für den Release planen und wie man eine Community bildet, vor, während und nach dem Release.

This workshop is recognized as an educational event in accordance with § 10 para. 1 sentence 3 of the Berlin Education Time Act / Berliner Bildungszeitgesetz [BiZeitG].
The event will only take place if the number of participants is sufficient to cover the costs. If the number of participants is not reached, EPI has the right to cancel the event up to 2 weeks in advance and, if possible, to postpone it to a later date. The participation fee will be refunded, whereas consequential costs, e.g. travelling expenses, are not reimbursed.
