Clearing Rights for Film and TV
Part of the Essential Legal Framework | 8-10 October 2026 | Berlin
About the Workshop:
Scripts inspired by real events, a Warhol poster in the background, or a protagonist humming a Robbie Williams song – not all rights associated with a script or film are immediately apparent. A thorough analysis is essential to avoid costly and time-consuming legal pitfalls. Understanding these legal complexities is now crucial for the sustainable development of many audiovisual companies.
The workshop provides a comprehensive overview of the strategies for clearing rights and imparts the necessary legal understanding to address these issues directly. Led by leading industry experts and supported by current case studies, the workshop offers a surprisingly entertaining deep dive into the topic.
Participants also benefit from excellent networking opportunities to connect with other professionals in the European media industry.
