The Art of Negotiating Agreements for Film and TV

Good agreements are essential for the success of any production. This workshop aims at enabling film and TV producers to handle an agreement like a good script: with passion and a deep understanding of its structures and mechanisms.


Participants will dive deep into the psychological dynamics involved in any negotiation and gain knowledge on how to protect their interests in the best way. In interactive and practical exercises during the workshop, they will have the chance to apply and test the newly learned methods and techniques with other professionals directly.


Internationally renowned experts will shed light onto the industry's inner workings and provide a comprehensive overview of VOD-platforms and other potential business partners. They will also share exclusive insights as well as equip participants with hands-on tips on setting themselves up for success and entering negotiations with confidence and a strong mindset.

Lunch & Dinner options

Lunches and dinners are included in the cost of participation. For convenience and a more ecological impact the menu choice will be oriented towards vegetarian dishes.


Lunches will be served at the workshop venue by a local catering company.

Dinners are reserved in restaurants in Kreuzberg area, making sure that they are accessible.

ACCESSIBILITY

To facilitate access for people with mobility impairments, both the workshop venue that hosts the training and the hotel are equipped with lifts and ramps to facilitate wheelchair access.


We also make sure that the restaurants are accessible.

Erich Pommer Institut Scholarships

A limited number of mostly partial scholarships is available for nationals of the following countries thanks to our Creative Europe - MEDIA funding: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.


Participants from countries that are not part of European Union's MEDIA initiative may still be viable for a scholarship depending on their participation in the MEDIA strand. These countries include: Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Iceland, Lichtenstein, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Republic of Serbia and Ukraine.

We encourage all applicants to seek financial support with their national/regional funding bodies.
